-> THINK - How much money have you spent on making your car "better" (i.e. more power, handle better, ...etc) INVEST IN SOME TIME WITH A HIGH PREFORMANCE DRIVING SCHOOL. What you learn could save your life, or you car, or hopefully BOTH. If (damn I sound like anti drug commercial) you already have done this, please get more….. because your asking here makes me think this.
-> get a pad/towel for your lower back to catch all your sweat when you start seeing life at WOT and 150 shot of the giggle gas that you're running. (and I would use giggle gas very with extream caution till you know how it affects things (and I am not talking about your motor)-> IF you are going to hit something take your thumbs out of the steering wheel .... (broken thumb(s) sux) ask a freind of mine ..... -> invest in a freaking 4 or 5 point harnesses if you have not already (very quick scan of your profile and I did not see any) maybe even a HANS system.( I think that is what they are called)
->. as for TOP SPEED runs on open highways.... know that if you get caught you will be in jail with the next few hours( you will go to court, you will not have a D/L after your court date, you will have one hell of time getting insurance(at all not just for a Z), think $$$$$$$$ for the rest of your life, or just think that of the bad things that can go wrong, this is about as good as it can get when it does go bad.. that said: the Z (stage 3-4) is quite stable around the top of 5th gear, not sure about after the stock speedo ends; my car stalled the last time I was doing a 5th gear pull (was done with 5th {end of the speedo} and pushed in the clutch and pulled it out of gear and at about that time it stalled… then I got the joys of thinking through the situation while lightly pressing on my brakes for the next mile or so to bring the car to a safe speed, restart, breathe sigh of relief, and wonder how soon I could get to a computer and search TT.net (ALSO this should go without saying, but if your going to do something stupid like see just how fast this thing can go on a public road, don’t do it at night, do it in the day,…. sober, in a unaltered state of mind, when you are clam, not mad at some girl) sorry this was long I kind of went off on a rant and I am sure that some people will have better advice than me, I am no means an expert on high speed driving, tack driving, or high HP cars, I have driven cars and one cart with some very respectable power to weight ratios. But that is my 2cents. -> be Respectful and frearful of the monster which it sounds like you going to unleash. A car can start to get away from you in the time it takes to look at your boost gauge....
P.S. if someone does not agree with something I have said here please feel free to speak up, I am almost done getting into my flame suit....
